Premium Trim for Standard model

When I first started car shopping last fall, it was supposed to be this fun, exciting milestone, my first time picking out a vehicle completely on my own. I had my heart set on a model with the premium trim, the heated seats, better sound system, some of those little touches. But when I actually found one at the dealership, they told me the premium trim was only available in a more expensive configuration I couldn't justify. So I settled anyway and I've been trying not to regret it.
Now a few months in, I keep wondering if there's a way to retrofit or upgrade some of what I missed out on. Not any flashy stuff, but like the comfort touches. If anyone here has tried adding premium trim features to a standard model, I'd love to know how it went and if it was worth it.

Thanks
Kia

You can add premium features to a basic model, but it depends on the car. Heated seats and infotainment systems are usually pretty simple to install. Things like upgraded sound systems or lighting might require some expert help. Make sure to check if everything will fit and get some price estimaets to see if it's a good idea. What model do you have?

Sometimes it's easier to focus on smaller, DIY upgrades like seat covers or aftermarket speakers to boost comfort without breaking your bank, weigh the cost vs how much you'll actually use those features.
