Coolant and AC issue

My 2017 Elantra has a coolant issue. The first time it did, it was just a loose hose connection so I had it fixed easily. So it's not the connection and I don't think it's the resistor too because I just had that replaced a month ago. I also notice that my AC is blowing hot air. Are these issues connected? How do I fix this?

oops...might be pointing to a failing thermostat or possibly even a leak in the heater core and sometimes it's internal and slow enough that it doesn't leave obvious drips maybe pressure test the system just to rule things out.

Since you had a coolant issue before and now have AC problems, I think it's best to bring it to a mechanic to save you time, money, and prevent more serious engine damage down the road. Don't let it overheat!

That's some solid advice from both of you. I'd suggest starting with a pressure test and taking a look at the thermostat. Sometimes, coolant and AC problems are linked through the heater core or if the engine is overheating. Have you noticed any coolant smell inside the car or foggy windows? That could indicate an issue with the heater core as well

Great diagnostic method! When the heater core fails, it can lead to cooling and AC problems, along with unpleasant smells in the cabin and fogged-up windshields. A pressure test will quickly show any leaks.
